Second Grade Weekly
J Hello! Hope everyone had a nice weekend!
GENERAL
INFORMATION:
This Wednesday will be a special Duds For Dollars Day to raise funds
for school supplies.
If your child wishes to participate in the talent show this year,
he/she can get a permission form at the office.
Earlier this month we had an assembly about kindness, more specifically
Ben’s Bells. Since that assembly we wanted
to make an effort to show kindness more often and to acknowledge acts of kindness
around us. If you notice that your child was particularly kind, please send a
note about the kind act and I will read it to the class. (They love to have letters from you read to
the class!)
This week we will read and learn about clouds (cirrus, stratus,
cumulus).
HOMEWORK:
This
week’s spelling words are below.
Please have your child read and practice these words every day.
Also, be sure your child reads and completes the reading log. It is essential that your child read every day to
maintain and improve his/her reading skills.
Have a great week!
