November 30 Newsletter Highlights

Thank you very much for your contributions of corn to our Thanksgiving Feast. Everyone had a wonderful time and it would not have happened without your cooperation and generosity!

On Tuesday, December 15, at 2:00 we will have our holiday program. This will be only first grade classes performing holiday songs in the school cafeteria. We hope you can be there!

Reminder: Please sign the permission slip to the Theatreworks USA production at the Fox Theatre and return it with $8.00 now! This show is sold out and we must pay for our seats to keep our reservation!

Next week we will be making mini "gingerbread" houses. I would like the children to have a variety of candies to decorate them with. If you could please send in something to decorate them I would greatly appreciate it. We will need canned white frosting (buttercream works best), small candies, decorator icing, and/or anything you think would look good on a very small "gingerbread" house. Thank you so much!

Winter bread will be from Thursday, December 17, through Friday, January 1. We will be back in school Monday, January 4.

There will be no after-school classes or lunch served on Wednesday, December 16. Report cards will also be sent home that day.

Newsletter Highlights November 2

This Wednesday, November 4, is Dress Down for a Dollar Day. Children may dress in any appropriate attire if they bring in $1.00.

Next Wednesday is Veterans Day and there will be no school that day.

The children really like the treats that they can buy at the student Snack Shack. However, due to money being lost, money misspent, and general confusion, children may only go to the Snack Shack with parent permission. If you would like your child to be able to go to this student store please send a very short note indicating that he/she has money and may go to the store that day. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please remember to send a note describing a stiuation when you feel that your child has demonstrated a noteworthy act of good character.

Reminder: Please sign the permisson slip to the Theatreworks USA production at the Fox Theatre (sent last week) and return it with $8.00 by December 1. Thanks.
