Hi! I hope everyone had a nice weekend.

February 4-8 is Love of Reading Week. We will be participating in several reading activities both school wide and in the classroom.  If you would like to come in for a few minutes to read a favorite book or story that week let me know.  The kids would really enjoy that.

Wednesday, February 20, will be Grandparents Day.  All grandparents are invited to spend some time with their grandchild (or grandchildren J). Grandparents must sign up for lunch if they wish to eat with the kids.

Again, please be sure your child arrives at school in dress code, with shirts tucked in.  Thanks!

We will be going to the Reid Park Zoo for a “Behind the Scenes” tour Monday, January 29.  The cost of this tour is $5.00 per person (including chaperones).  Please sign the permission slip and return it with $5.00 as soon as possible.

Hi! I hope everyone had a nice vacation!

Big news! We have a student teacher in our class.  Her name is Ms. Huge and she will be here for the next 8 weeks or so.  We look forward to our time with her!

This Wednesday, January 9, will be Duds for Dollars Day.

We are planning a field trip to the Reid Park Zoo “Behind the Scenes Tour.”  The cost will be $5.00. When we have confirmation we will send home a permission slip for you to sign and return.
