Tuesday, March 22, is La Paloma Night at Skate Country.

Please make every effort to see that your child reads and completes his/her reading log every week! It is extremely important that first graders practice their emerging reading skills at home as well as at school.

Many thanks to the parents who chaperoned our trip to the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum! It was such a nice day.

Wednesday, March 16, is report card day. Report cards will be sent home with students and there will be no lunch served or After-School classes that day.

Spring Break will be Thursday and Friday, March 17 and 18. We will be back in school Monday March 21.

Please be sure your child is doing his/her homework and be sure he/she is doing it correctly. Sometimes asking is not enough. Thanks.

Also, reading at home is so important in first grade. The children must practice their newly learned skills.
