J  Hello!  Hope you had a good weekend!

GENERAL INFORMATION:    

This Friday, January 31, is the Daddy Daughter Dance at 6:00.

Wednesday, February 19, will be Grandparents Day.  All grandparents are invited to spend some time with their grandchild at school! I will provide more details as the day gets closer.

Earlier this month we had an assembly about kindness, more specifically Ben’s Bells.  Since that assembly we wanted to make an effort to show kindness more often and to acknowledge acts of kindness around us. If you notice that your child was particularly kind, please send a note about the kind act and I will read it to the class.  (They love to have letters from you read to the class!)

This week we will read and learn about weather.

HOMEWORK:                

This week’s spelling words are below.  Please have your child read and practice these words every day.

Also, be sure your child reads and completes their reading log. It is essential that your child read every day to maintain and improve his/her reading skills.
