Hi! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thank you so much for sending in corn for our Thanksgiving Feast. We appreciate it very much and everyone enjoyed the feast!

This Wednesday, December 1, will be Dress Down for a Dollar day.

This Friday is our Pancake Breakfast with the Principal.

The children in first grade will be singing in their own Holiday concert and would love to have you be there! It will be on Thursday, December 16, at 2:00, in the cafeteria. (This is separate from the Holiday concert on December 15. The first graders do not participate in that concert.) Also, it would be really nice if we all could bring cookies to share.

Last week I sent a note about your child making a timeline of his/her life events. I neglected to mention the due date; this is not due until December 16. If you have any questions please contact me. Have fun doing this project!

Winter break will be from Monday, December 20 through Friday, December 31. We will be back in school Monday, January 3.

Report cards will be sent home Friday, December 17. If you would like to schedule a conference please let me know and I will gladly arrange a time for our meeting.

Hi! I hope you had a good weekend!

Our class has earned a good character pajama party! The kids have been working toward this party by demonstrating good character at school. This Friday, November 19, they may wear their pajamas. They will still have PE that day so please be sure that your child wears pajamas and shoes that are appropriate for outdoor activities.

On November 23 our students will enjoy a Thanksgiving Feast. The first grade classes are supposed to contribute corn for this meal. It would be greatly appreciated if each student brought in a can of corn that week. Thanks!

Thanksgiving vacation begins Wednesday, November 24. We will be back in school Monday, November 29.

Please be sure to turn in the reading log every Friday.
