Newsletter Highlights February 8

Please continue to have your child read and complete the Bookman's Reading Challenge form each week. (This is a required assignment, even beyond the Reading challenge end date) Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Our field trip to the Fox Theater is this Thursday. We will see the live musical performance of Nate the Great in the morning and will eat lunch at Reid Park; please be sure that your child brings his/her lunch that day. We will need to leave no later than 9:00 that morning. Please be sure that your child arrives to school on time.

Please remember that your child must have a note from you stating that she/he has permission to go to the Snack Shack after school.

Also, please remember that if your child wishes to wear a sweater or sweatshirt in class it must be a solid red, white, or navy blue. Thanks.

So that grandparents may plan accordingly, Wednesday, February 24 will be Grandparents Day! This is a fun day and the children really like to spend time with their grandparents.

Thursday and Friday, February 25 and 26, are Rodeo Days and there will be no school those days.
