This Wednesday is a regular Duds for Dollars Day.

Don’t forget the math/science whodunit night tomorrow night! I hope to see you there!

Next week, April 7-11, is AIMS week.  Second grade does not take the AIMS test. However, they do take a national standardized test that week, the Stanford 10.  Please be sure your child is well rested that week. Also, encourage them to do their best! 

Please take a moment to write a note when you notice that your child was particularly kind. Have your child bring the note in and I will read it to the class.

HOMEWORK:                

This week’s spelling words are attached.  Please have your child read and practice these words every day. 

Please be sure your child completes his/her homework: a math worksheet and a reading passage with comprehension questions to be answered.

Also, be sure your child reads and completes the attached reading log. It is essential that your child read every day to maintain and improve his/her reading skills.
