Hello!
Last week was a very good first full week and I look forward to a great school year.
Please remember to check your child's folder daily.
If you have not done so already please complete and return the Parent Questionnaire and conference schedule as soon as possible.
Open House will be Wednesday, August 31, at 6:00pm. The Scholastic Book Fair will be open that night.
The Book Fair will be open that week and the children may buy books Tuesday through Thursday.
Picture day is Thursday, August 25.
The children will have a spelling test every week beginning this week. Please be sure your child reads and practices spelling these words each day.

Thank you very much for the supplies that you brought in. I truly appreciate it and everything is always put to very good use.
Please remember to check your child's folder every day. On Mondays I will be sending home a newsletter along with completed assignments and other school information or requests.
If you have not done so already please complete and return the Parent Questionnaire as soon as possible. Thanks!
We will be spending much of our time this week learning classroom procedures. We will be reviewing most subjects.
Please read with your child everyday! Also, please assist your child with his/her homework if necessary. Homework is to be turned in everyday with the exception of Friday. There will be no homework on Fridays and I will return homework folders on Mondays.

Welcome to First Grade!
Today we look forward to our first grade adventure! I am sure this will be a great year!
This week, and the first several weeks, we will be working on rules, routines and procedures. We will also review math and reading concepts as well as the character pillars.
