Hi! I hope you all had a great weekend!

Please remember to check your child's homework folder daily. They have homework everyday except Friday. The folders remain at school on Friday to be returned on Monday with the newsletter, school information and finished work.

Open House is this Wednesday at 6:00. I look forward to seeing you!

This Wednesday will also be Dress Down for a Dollar day. Students do not have to follow dress code and may wear appropriate school attire of choice if they bring in $1.00. This is a fundraiser for the classroom.

The Scholastic Book Fair will be open this week and the children may buy books Tuesday through Thursday. It will also be open the evening of Open House.

Labor Day is Monday, September 6. There will be no school that day.

This year the children have PE on Tuesday and Friday. They have Art on Tuesday. And they have Library/Computers on Friday.

August 16 Newsletter Highlights

The first two days of school have been wonderful. I hope your child thought so as well. If you hear of any problems or have any concerns please let me know immediately. Thanks.

Thanks to everyone for bringing in school supplies. It is greatly appreciated.

It has been brought to my attention that there is no pencil box on the supply list. While the children don't absolutely need one they might want a small pencil box. Whether you get this for your child is up to you.

Please check your child's folder every day. On Mondays I will be sending home the newsletter and other school information or requests.

I have attached a snack calendar to the newsletter. On your child's appointed day he/she should bring in a simple, nutritious, store bought snack to share with the class. She/he should bring enough for 28 children. Thank you.

If you have not done so already, please complete and return the Parent Questionnaire as soon as possible. Thanks!

I am looking forward to a great week. Hope you have a great week as well!
