Newsletter Highlights May 24
I can hardly believe it is the last week of school! I would like to take this opportunity to tell you that it has been wonderful having your children in my class. They are very special people and you should be so proud of them. I will miss having them in my class next year but I look forward to seeing them as "big" second graders!
We will be going to The Home Depot tomorrow, Tuesday, May 25. Please be sure your child brings a sack lunch to eat at Reid Park.
It is not too late to send in a note when your child demonstrates a noteworthy act of good character. The children love to share the notes and we encourage good character all year! Thanks!
Friday is the last day of school. Report cards will go home that day. It will be a half day with no lunch served and no after-school classes.
We will also be having our good character celebration on Friday. The children may wear pajamas to school, or they may dress down.
There will be no homework or spelling words this week.
