You can reserve a book anytime. You just search the online catalog for the book or item you want, click on the title, click on the reserve link, and enter your library card number and PIN. January 4 Newsletter Highlights

Hi! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Happy New Year!

You should have received your child's report card the day before the winter break. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a conference just let me know.

This Wednesday is Dress Down for a Dollar day.

Monday, January 18, is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. There will be no school that day.

On Monday I will begin to send home a reading log to be completed each week. Your child must be the one to complete it. He or she may read any story or book of interest to him/her. With your assistance, if necessary, your child must read stories; then she or he must complete the reading log by writing the title of each story, the author, what the story was about, and if she/he liked it. If your child reads a chapter book, he/she may write about one chapter for each entry. So, three chapters would complete one reading log sheet. These will be sent home on Monday and should be turned in by the next Monday.
